Well for me i don't think it is really advisable go ahead for marriage when finally you find out that you and your
partner are AS and AS.Yes we know that with God all things are possible,we should not endenger our children because seeing them dying could be very painful.

I thank God for chazbs life may God continue to send help to you concerning you programme,i never use to think about this genotype stuff not untill u brought it up.Well i think its better you aviod it if you can and on the other hand love goes a long way too,but with the help of the God nothing is immposible,that day wen i got home i spoke to my brother about his genotype and he told me AS i asked him about his wife she is AS alos i was scared i now asked about his three kids and he told me the three of them are AA .I was shocked and happy that they were all AA,cos this kids are just too lovely i cant imagine loosing any of them to SS,now am so so scared that if i marry an AS i will give bith to an SSsince that day we did that topic ve been scaredcos am AS and my boyfriend is AS .But i hear there is a test now so its like taking a big Risk.

Inasmuch as the genotype issue is such a delicate and complicated one, to some certain extent science has been able to achieve some preventive measure to avoid it. It depend largely if individual is ready for it or not.
It also beg the question to assume love is enough to propel you through the like dilemna that may arise. Personally, I feel it has nothing to do with love because it has both moral and psychological implications.
The question now is, should two AS go ahead and marry?
It is a personal decision, afterall it isn’t only sickle cell that can give you trouble children. You can have AA or AS as imbecile, disabled etc children.

Am AA" but the through is that when bcos of love u now create everlasting problem by going on with a partner with the same(AS,AS or SS,AS) pls try to be wish in doing thing.
on my part i will never go 4 sure relationship.

In has much I believe That with God all things are possible. I will gently leave a relationship which i kow before hand that the people involved are both AS to avoid Future disaster. I work in the hospital set and i have witness a lot in terms of pain for people who AS.

The issue is clear. Marriage is ordained by God, hence before going into it, one must ,ake up his /her ming for the best or otherwise . While am not going against knowing your partner’s genothpe, if you have a green light from the creator of marriage to go on, why not? God , for my friend, turned ss to aa for her before marriage. Pls, let us go back to God indeed!

I agree with Idahosa. But then again we are humans and have feelings. I am not AS but i can understand what they are going through. I have lost a brother, though he was not AS, but i know how i felt and i was still little. So i cannot just imagine having kids and watching them die. Its gonna hurt big time. then again GOD is the I AM THAT I AM. With him anything is possible with faith.
